What guests ask us in summer and winter
All year
How much is it?
The price depends on the apartment, the dates and the number of guests. Send us an enquiry and we'll tell you.
Do we need a car?
Not necessarily. The bus stop is 50 metres from the house and the valley bus is free. If you come by car, you park it at the house.
Where can we buy food?
The bakery is two houses away, and the shops and restaurants in Bistrica are a few minutes' walk. There is a local producers' market on Saturdays.
Can we take both apartments?
Yes. Together they sleep up to 11 in four bedrooms. Choose “Both” in the form.
Summer
How far is the lake?
Six kilometres: 10 minutes by car, on the free bus or along the cycle path that starts near the house. Parking at the lake is paid.
Can we try climbing?
Yes. In summer we run the Pod skalco climbing school by the lake, and you can hire the gear at the house. Ask us about available times.
Is it hot in summer?
The attic has air conditioning, the ground floor doesn't. With the windows open you hear the traffic from the road in the morning.
Winter
Where do we keep our skis?
There is a ski room in the house.
Can we hire gear or book lessons?
Yes. In winter we run a ski and snowboard school, and you hire ski gear at the house. Tell us how many of you there are and how old the children are.
How do we get to the slopes?
Vogel is 17 minutes by car, Soriška planina 20. The free bus also runs in winter, from the stop 50 metres from the house.
